True love never runs smooth
Been wondering what Utada Hikaru's been up to lately? Well, this week's Josei Jishin is reporting she has a new love in her life.
According to the mag, he's a 34 year old artist who creates nihonga, or Japanese style paintings.
A music industry insider says they may be living together; he's been spotted going in and out of her place quite often. One evening in August they were seen leaving the apartment together on their bikes and later that night they came back together.
Earlier this month they rode their bikes to a 25 story apartment building in Akasaka; she stayed for about an hour then went home, stopping on the way to get some organic vegetables from a high end supermarket. Later that evening he went back to her place. Since then his bike has been seen there every day and in the afternoon he and his bike can be spotted leaving.
A friend of his says the apartment building they went to is the artist's studio. "He said, 'I'm pretty much living at Hikaru's place. I have to look after the princess. I just go to the studio for work.'" As for marriage, they're not in a hurry.
lol he called her Hime-sama.
The two went on a date at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum to see the "Ancient Egypt in Torino" exhibit.
One thing about the bike riding, he's does it quite a bit and Utada pretty much sucks at it but she rides along with him anyway. Clearly he's had quite an influence on her.
They sound cute.
